Top Coat:
Pro-FX Quick Dry High Gloss Top Coat
This has to be my number one favorite top coat. It goes on evenly, doesn't chip, and lasts for longer than a week. My local Wal-Mart carried the large, salon size bottle for only five dollars! Such a great value for such a wonderful product. If you can get your hands on this, don't hesitate to purchase it.
Seche Vite
This seems to be every nail bloggers top top coat. I love the consistency and quality of the top coat. This does come in at around the ten dollar mark, but to have a long lasting manicure, you have to spend a little extra on the essentials.
Base Coat:
Essie's First Base
Throughout the years, I have tried countless base coats, and none of them seemed to get the job done. When searching for the perfect base coat, I want it to be long lasting and Essie's First Base does just that. This base coat lasts for about a week with barely any chipping. And to top it all off, it dries super fast. That's always a plus, right? Most stores price this base coat around eight dollars.
Sinful Colors Professional Base Coat
If you're looking for a cheaper, great-quality base coat, then this is it. It's not as good as the Essie, but it does the job. For a price of three dollars, it is so worth the money.
