Spring Floral

Oh my goodness. It has been almost a year since my last post, and in that year, a lot has changed. My nail polish collection has grown, I attempted, but failed, the 31 day nail polish challenge, and my nail art skills have continued to get better.

Today, I have a beautiful spring floral for you all. This winter, I have not been inspired to do nail art, partially because I'm wearing socks a majority of the time and no one can see it. But spring has sprung, and so has my passion for nail art.

For the white nails, I used a base of Sinful Colors Snow Me White. For the blue nails, I used Sally Hansen Pacific Blue. All details were done with nail polish and a small nail art brush.

For the flowers, I used four different colors. I drew the basic shape with Tickled Pink and then drew the details with the others. If you want to see a tutorial on how I draw flowers, please leave a comment below!
  • Sinful Colors Easy Going
  • wet n wild  Tickled Pink
  • Sinful Colors Thimbleberry
  • e.l.f. smokin hot
For the leaves, I used a combination of forest green and orange to create an olive green color. I then used Song of Summer for the lighter details.
  • Piggy Polish The True GREEN-ing of Christmas
  • Sinful Colors Feel the Vibe
  • Sinful Colors Song of Summer
